HELLO!! SORRY WE HAVEN'T UPDATED. WE MADE A TRIP TO GALVESTON. WE WERE WORRIED ABOUT HARLI'S RIGHT ARM. SO WE CALLED TO SEE IF THEY WOULD SEE HER MONDAY. WE SAW THE DOCTOR AND HE SAID EVERYTHING LOOKED GOOD AND TO COME BACK JULY 24TH. SHE IS CONTINUING THERAPY EVERY DAY. SHE IS DOING WELL WITH THERAPY. I BELIEVE HARLI IS GOING TO MAKE A FULL RECOVERY. IT WILL JUST TAKE SOME TIME. GOD HAS HEALED HER SO WELL AND CONTINUES TO DO SO. HARLI HAS A GREAT ATTITUDE AND WE ARE VERY PROUD OF HER. SHE IS SUCH AN INSPIRATION. THANK YOU ALL FOR ALL THE SUPPORT AND PRAYERS, WE ARE SO BLESSED.

HELLO EVERYONE!! WE HAVE INTERNET!!!! YEA WE GOT IT FIXED TODAY. SORRY WE HAVEN'T GOT TO UPDATE. HARLI IS DOING WONDERFUL. SHE IS DOING THERAPY EVERYDAY. SHE IS WORKING REALLY HARD. WE ARE VERY PROUD OF HER. SHE IS A STRONG GIRL. SHE WON'T BE ABLE TO DO THERAPY ON HER ARM FOR ANOTHER 2 WEEKS. WE WILL GO BACK TO GALVESTON ON JULY 24TH. DR. HERNDON SAID HE MAY WANT TO DO ANOTHER RELEASE SURGERY BEFORE SCHOOL. SHE HAS HAD LITTLE PAIN WITH THIS RELEASE SURGERY. PRAISE GOD!! HE CONTINUES TO HOLD HER TIGHT IN HIS ARMS. GOOD EVENING EVERYONE. HARLI'S SURGERY WENT WELL TODAY. RECOVERY WAS A LITTLE ROUGH. JUST A LITTLE SICK TO HER STOMACH. WE ARE BACK AT THE APARTMENT TONIGHT. WE WILL SEE THE DOCTORS IN THE MORNING AT 7:00 AM. WE ASKED HARLI IF SHE WANTED TO GO HOME OR STAY IN GALVESTON FOR A FEW DAYS BECAUSE OF THE RIDE IN THE CAR HOME. SHE SAID SHE WAS GOING HOME!!! DR. HERNDON SAID WE WILL NOT HAVE TO COME BACK TO HOSPITAL UNTIL 2 WEEKS BEFORE SCHOOL STARTS. HARLI WILL HAVE TO WEAR A SLING FOR 3 WEEKS ON HER RIGHT ARM BUT WILL CONTINUE THERAPY EVERY DAY. GOOD AFTERNOON! WE JUST GOT BACK FROM THE HOSPITAL. HARLI WILL HAVE SURGERY IN THE MORNING. WE HAVE TO BE THERE AT 6:00 AM. THEY WILL DO A RELEASE UNDER HER RIGHT ARM AND ALSO RELEASES ON HER RIGHT AND LEFT SIDES. WE WILL SEE THE DOCTORS EARLY FRIDAY MORNING AND THEN IF EVERYTHING IS WELL WE WILL GO HOME. I DON'T KNOW HOW LONG YET. PLEASE PRAY THAT THE SURGERY BE A SUCCESS AND FAST HEALING AFTER THE SURGERY. ALSO AS LESS PAIN AS POSSIBLE. SHE WILL HAVE TO WEAR A SPLINT ON HER ARM THAT WILL HOLD HER ARM UP AT ALL TIMES FOR ABOUT 5 DAYS. THAT IS GOING TAKE SOME GETTING USE TOO. BUT SHE CAN DO IT. HARLI IS WORKING VERY HARD TO MAKE A FAST AND FULL RECOVERY. ALSO GOD HAS HEALED HER SO FAST AND I BELIEVE HE WILL CONTINUE. GOD HAS THE POWER SO PRAY.. SHE IS A MIRACLE CHILD OF GOD. HER RIGHT ARM IS GETTING BETTER DAILY. SHE WENT GOLFING WITH HER DAD, SISTER, RANDY AND SHANNON ON SATURDAY. SHE HAD A BLAST. SHE PLAYED 9 HOLES. HER DAD AND EVERYONE SAID SHE HIT THE BALL VERY GOOD. IT DOESN'T SURPRISE ME!!! SHE IS A VERY TALENTED YOUNG LADY. NOT MUCH SHE CANT DO OR WONT TRY. PLEASE CONTINUE TO PRAY FOR THE GARMENTS TO DO THEIR WORK FAST. WHAT A GREAT FAMILY SPORT AND KIND PEOPLE. WE THANK YOU SO MUCH. THERE ARE SO MANY THINGS THAT RACE CAR DRIVERS AND TRACKS ARE AND HAVE DONE. STICKERS ON THE CARS, PRAYING FOR HER AT DRIVERS MEETINGS, WEARING HER SHIRTS, AND SO MUCH MORE. WE APPRECIATE EVERY SINGLE THING. WE STRUGGLED SO MUCH WITH HARLI RACING. LOTS OF LONG DISCUSSIONS ON THE ISSUE AND ONCE AGAIN HARLI WON. SHE TENDS TO GET HER WAY A LOT. BUT WE HAVE NEVER BEEN ONES TO PUT KRYSTAL AND HARLI'S DREAMS ON THE BACK BURNER. Hi! It's Harli. We went fishing last night off the pier. I caught a bonnet head shark. It was pretty cool. Not very big. I also caught a fish that looked like a cat fish. I caught the biggest one. mom and dad caught little ones. 1 day of school left. I bet everyone is so excited.

Hi! This is Harli. I'm doing great. Had a good weekend with family. Guess what? No surgery again. I am healing very good. I will probably be home soon. Very soon. My therapist today said she thought about 3 weeks. I hope she's right. Thank you for all the prayers and cards. Please pray for all the children at Shriners and their families.

Hi everyone. Hope you have had a good day so far. We have had a very good day. Harli, Scott, Dalton and Mason are playing Monopoly. Charlie and Grandma are taking a nap. I heard the weather in Oklahoma has been terrible. Lots of rain and tornadoes. Hopefully it will be better soon. It is very humid here. Well I will go for now. Just to let everyone know we will be meeting with the doctors again on Monday. Please pray Harli does not have to have another surgery. We love ya and thank you for all you have done.

HI EVERYONE! WE HAVE HAD A VERY GOOD DAY TODAY. HARLI, AUNT MISTI, TAYLOR AND I WENT SHOPPING TODAY AT THE MALL. HARLI SHOPPED AWAY. SHE SAID SHE HAD TO GET ME A MOTHERS DAY GIFT. HELLO EVERYONE! WE HAVE FINALLY GOT INTERNET AT THE APARTMENT. WE WILL BE UPDATING DAILY. HARLI IS DOING VERY WELL. SHE STARTED ANOTHER THERAPY PROGRAM TODAY. SHE WILL BE WORKING OUT PRETTY INTENSE. SHE IS LIFTING WEIGHTS AND WALKING ON TREAD MILL. SHE IS HEALING WELL. WE MAY HAVE TO HAVE A SMALL SURGERY TO GRAPH A FEW SMALL AREAS. WE WILL KNOW MORE MONDAY. SHE HAS HER COUSIN TAYLOR HERE THIS WEEKEND AND AUNT MISTI AND JOHNNY AND TUCKER. SHE IS GLAD TO SEE THEM. HER AND TAYLOR ARE GETTING BUSY ON THE WII. THANKS AGAIN FOR ALL THE MESSAGES. Hello everyone! I know we haven't updated in a few days. We will be getting internet at the apartment on Friday. Yea !

Harli is doing very well. We didn't have surgery. The doctors are wanting to see how well she heals on her own. Of course she will heal. That is our prayer. No more surgeries. God has healed Harli so fast. Of course through his angels at Shriners Hospital. This is a brilliant hospital. She is having some trouble with itching. We all know how irritating that can be. But it is part of healing. Please pray for the itching and continued healing. I know everyone is praying for her and we thank you so much. God has truly blessed us. Not only with healing and taking care of Harli. But with wonderful people like you who care so much for our family. We thank u so much. Harli will be updating tomorrow. Hopefully our internet will be on as planned. We appreciate the continued cards and letters to the hospital. Harli goes to the post office at Shriners every day to get her mail. She loves getting them. Thank you for that. She has gotten cards from all over the world. She is truly loving it. We will go for now have a wonderful relaxing weekend.

Hey, well my doctor looked at me today when I was getting cleaned up and he said that I was healing VERY well! He asked me when I wanted to have surgery. I said Wednesday, so my surgery is next Wednesday and it might heal up so well to where I might not even have another surgery. Well I thought I would let ya'll know!!
Oh yea, some bumps have come up on my tongue. They hurt really really bad. I couldn't sleep last night because of it but we showed them to the doctors and they said it would go away if I use this mouth wash stuff that burns really bad!! So just keep prayin please! And also pray for Colt Cordell. His sister said he is doing okay. Just keep him in your prayers too... Well I got to go...... bye.... love ya'll all LOTS!! THANKS FOR ALL THE LETTERS, THEY KEEP ME BUSY AND CHEERED UP ALL THE TIME!!!

Hello everyone. Harli is still at the apartment with us until Sunday Night. Then she will go to hospital for surgery on Monday. She is healing well. We have to go to tub room at 1:00 every day and therapy at 3:00. Harli is doing very well in therapy. She is feeding herself. She is walking on her own now. She walked 2 flights of stairs yesterday and 3 flights of stairs today. She is really pushing herself. The only thing we are having a problem with is nutrition. Harli is not much of an eater anyway. She gags when she has to drink the boost. Speaking of gag her dad was just now making her drink one and she puked it up. Please pray that she drinks the boost. She has lost weight since at the apartment. We are pushing food down her. She has got to get an appetite. She is burning calories in therapy and she needs to replace them. Thank you for all your prayers and cards and gifts. We are so blessed. Harli is opening her cards on her own also. She loves to read them. We ask that you still pray for her. She still has a long road ahead.

Good Evening! Harli has a a good day today. Therapy went very well. The therapist told Harli she didn't see any reason she wouldn't be home soon. Harli walked all by herself!!! I was so proud of her. She's a worker. The reason she didn't go in for surgery today is because Dr. Herndon would like more healing to take place then she will go to surgery Monday and stay in the hospital for a couple of days. Then go back to the apartment with us. She is eating very well. Thanks for the prayers on the appetite. Fever is getting better also. Thanks so much for the cards. She opened the cards she got today all by herself. It was great. She really enjoyed them. Tomorrow we are going to read more that she has gotten in the past weeks. Thanks for the encouraging words they will help her a lot. I will go for now. I or Harli will update tomorrow. I was so glad to see her update herself yesterday. We love you and thank you for all that everyone has done. Once again I would like to thank the Shriners, you truly do God's work in your hospitals, God heals through all your work. My family thanks you so much. Harli is in the best hospital. I would also like to thank the OU Trauma Center. They did an excellent job on Harli the night of accident. They are truly professional and take their job very serious. Harli was transported very fast. Thank you to Angel Flight they were awesome. They flew Harli from OKC to Galveston. I would like you to know that the prayer request we have gotten we have prayed. Tyra I'm so sorry to hear about your niece. I would like to know how she is. Please message and let us know. (Second update today)

Hello and good afternoon. Harli's birthday party went great. She had a wonderful time with family and friends. She hated to see them go. That was pretty tough for her. She says every day how lucky she is to have such amazing family and friends. She is also very touched by cards and messages from people that she doesn't even know. Thank you again. She ate a lot of cake today and drank some punch. She was in heaven. She was savoring every bite. Harli also walked today, it was awesome. She did better than before. The therapist kept telling her she didn't have to hurry. But she was mov'in on. It made my day.
Charlie is feeling a lot better. Thanks for the prayers for him. It was tough without him at the hospital. Well I will go for now, we love ya.

Sorry everyone. I have not had a chance to update in a couple of days. I know everyone has been wondering how Harli is doing and thank you for being concerned about our Harli Girl. She is doing very well. We are at the end of the week so things start looking up. She didn't get to go to the apartment with us. But she will get to next week hopefully. She will have another surgery on Monday . She will not have to have much coverage but they will have to take more donor skin. She doesn't have any in bank, they used it all. Please pray she doesn't have to have very much. When they take donor skin it is like a 2nd degree burn but it heels very well. The healing process is very painful.
We are having a big birthday party today. She will get to celebrate with family and friends for about 1 1/2 to 2 hours today. She is so excited. She will get to sit in a chair. She is so ready to eat some cake. Her theme is polka-dots. That's what she wanted. Thank you to all our family and friends for taking care of that. Harli is all about birthday party's. It's going to be a good day.
Some of you have asked how we came up with Harli's name. Well we were on our way to hospital when pregnant with her. And we were talking about naming her Charlie. Well her dad and I came up with Harli by taking the c and e off of Charlie. Then you have Harli.
Please pray that Harli gets well enough to go to apartment with us next week. She was so looking forward to that. I think she will feel 100% better when she can. Thank you again for continuing to pray for Harli and her family. God is with us. He does have the power so pray!!!!! Also thank you for all the Birthday cards she will get them today.      Good Afternoon and Hello. I am so glad to hear Brooks did very well. NO PAIN... Kim that is awesome. More answered prayers. I will call you soon Kim with the info you are needing.
     Harli has done very well today. No pain medicine except fÂ)©§er button all day until about three today. We talked a lot today. She just amazes me still with her strength. She can't wait until her birthday tomorrow. Her uncle sat with her so I could go get her some stuff for her birthday. Any other time she would have been very mad at me for leaving her with someone besides dad or I but this time it was okay because I was going to get her presents for her birthday. She can work us pretty good. Which is fine with us. She will get to go home with us to the apartment Friday. I know it's crazy. But they encourage the parents and children to get out of the hospital as soon as possible and make it as their life would be. Her lab work has came back good again today. Sodium has came up a little. Everything else is great. We won't know how much of the last graphs have taken until tomorrow. Lets pray that all have taken. Could you also pray for Charlie? He ran fever last night so he can't be in Harli's room until he is better. His throat is sore too. Please pray he gets better. Harli wants her daddy with her and Charlie is very upset as you can imagine but we can't risk anything. I thank you again for all the letters, cards, gifts and support. Thank you again town of Lindsay you are the best. Thank you to Kasey Kane for the poster and card. Very sweet of ya'll. Harli thinks your hot. Also thank you to Tony Stewart for the gifts. It is nice to see you take notice of children or adults who admire you. Great Job. Tony I don't really know if Harli thinks your hot but she does like your attitude.      Well tomorrow is the big day. My baby will be 13. I can't believe it. Thank you for all the birthday cards and gifts. We have been putting them aside until her birthday. So she will get them tomorrow. I want to tell everyone how thoughtful Harli is she has told me once again today that she is very glad that the accident didn't happen to any one else. She is the best of best thinking of other people. She shows me that I complain to much. When I'm tired or sick or need to do something but make excuses. It is just pure laziness. Get up and live life to the fullest. You never know what God has in store for your life. Live it with out selfishness and laziness. That is the way Harli does it. There's not many 12 year old girls who know things that Harli knows. Her dad has taught her a lot. When her older sister would get a car we would make her show us where the oil is, Where the transmission fluid goes etc. Harli would be standing there saying I know I know! Can I show her? Krystal would say "No Harli! I can do it. Just give me a minute. She so pays attention. When she does it once she's got it. Well I will go for now. Prayers are being answered. Please please continue. Hello. Just wanted to let everyone know Harli is doing pretty well this evening. Her sodium is low. I think she drank a gallon of Sprite and Gatorade after surgery she was so thirsty. I think that has a lot to do with it. So now the nurse says back to the disgusting boost. At least that's what Harli says about it. She still doesn't have an appetite. Hopefully that will change.
God is still healing Harli every second of the day. Thank you again for all the prayers. God has her in his loving arms. He also has Charlie and I in his loving arms and gets us through every day. The power of prayer is awesome. GHTP God has the Power so!!! PRAY Everyone keep that in mind. There is nothing you can't accomplish with Gods help. You just have to ask. I really can't imagine not having a personal relationship with my savior. We could not understand this accident with out that relationship. Once again say something nice to someone who needs it today or tomorrow You will make their day. I know that God is handing out blessings everyday to us and to the people that care for Harli and have done so much to show they do care. I can't thank you enoug I know I say that every day but you just don't understand how much it gets us all through the days.

Good Morning! Harli's surgery went well yesterday. They covered everything. There was an infection in one spot that they removed and they're going to keep a very close eye on it. Good Morning! The doctors have made their rounds. Dr. Herndon said this morning once again he is very pleased with her progress. He said that they will be filling in spots on grafting today and they will redo the spots that didn't take and also some on her left leg. He wants to also graft the left side of face under her ear. He said it will scar but with later surgeries we can take care of that pretty good. They want her to walk some more before surgery. She's hot going to be happy about that. She is very thirsty but can't have anything to drink.
Thank you again for the messages. I want each and every person to know that we would love to thank you personally for everything everyone has done but of course we cant but I can say Thank You! Thank You! Thank You! You just cant imagine the strength it gives us. Everyone have a good week and God bless.

     Hi everyone. So sorry I haven't updated today. Once again we have been very busy. I have some very good news. God is healing Harli faster than the doctors have anticipated. Dr. Hernden told us this morning that if everything goes well with surgery tomorrow (she will go in to surgery anywhere between 10:00 am to 12:00 pm) she will get to go to the apartment with Charlie and I Friday. I know God is blessing us. Her fever and eating will also determine if she will get to go Friday. Please pray that Harli gets an appetite and no fever and surgery goes well. Her graphs are taking so well.
     Today she walked even further. She was taking big steps. Dad and the therapist said that she was pretty much walking on her own. What a trooper. I have never seen anything like it. When I had a 4 wheeler wreck and broke my arm I cried like a baby and also screamed a lot. Well Harli reminded me of that today. She said she hasn't even acted like me in the hospital . She said I was a big baby. I said "I know it Harli, you are way stronger than your mom would ever be." And that's a fact. She is the strongest person I have ever met. I know I keep saying that but you can't even imagine. I want everyone to know we are so thankful for all the support from everyone that is praying and sending cards and giving to Harli.
     We have had some good news from the tracks that have already been making changes. Praise God that parents and racers will not have to worry about the safety on the track!!!! I have been around racing for a long time. I know things happen. I know things happen for a reason. I know that God has had our lives planned before we were born. Like I have said before he chose us. We will be fine. But not without the help of God and friends and our family and even the people we don't know that have come to know and love Harli.

Hello again! We have once again had a very good day. Harli went for an ultrasound to check for a blood clot in her left leg. There is not one. The swelling is caused from her being prone and on her belly. Also she walked a marathon. I couldn't believe how far she walked even further than last week. The therapist were shocked at how well she has done. She pretty much walked on her own. It was awesome. We are on the road to home I believe sooner than they believe. Charlie and I are doing very well. Harli slept for the first time last night for about 7 hrs. So she was at the top of her game today after finally getting some sleep. Her temp has done very well today. Once again prayers are being answered. Well I will go for now once again thank you for the encouraging messages. Harli is healing at a very fast pace.

Hi everyone. Sorry i didn't get to update yesterday. We had a busy day. Harli had some family and friends come down yesterday. She had a very good day. Her fever got really high at one time but we got it down very fast. The doctors say she is doing very well. Graphs are taking good. They will be taking an x-ray of left leg today. Her ankle is swollen . They want to make sure there is not a blood clot. But they really think it is just from being prone on belly for so long. She will get to stand today so that should help also. She was so funny yesterday . She was kidding around a lot. Things are getting better everyday. We of course will start over Monday with another surgery. Please pray that Harli gets an appetite back. She eats like a mouse as it is but she needs to eat. It's important for healing. Prayers are being answered. Thank you so much. Charlie and I are doing well with your help. Thanks Harli wanted to me to tell everyone she said everything is good, she misses everyone, thank you for the prayers, be home soon. And then she said P.S. please keep praying. That is straight from Harli. Thanks again everyone for cards and gifts. Harli got an autographed shirt and card from Tony Stewart yesterday. She was beside herself. Dad put the shirt up against him and told her he was going to wear it. She said no your not the sleeves were to short and it is hers. Well I will go for now Charlie is dancing to Soulja Boy and Harli is telling him to stop. I better get control of them.

Hello again everyone. I heard Brooks surgery went well. We are thinking about ya Brooks. Our prayers are with you. Kim, I know exactly what you have been going through the last 2 years. As a mother it is the hardest thing to endure to see your child in so much pain and not a thing you can do. I want to hold Harli in my arms and rock her and I can't . But I hold her hand and we sing Jesus loves us and pray, great Mother Daughter time. Harli has been very restless. She can't seem to get any sleep. They are going to start her on a different medicine tonight to see if that helps. Hopefully so. She is worn smooth out. Tomorrow will be a better day.

Everyone is asking how Charlie's hand is. It is healed. They are also asking about my arm. I will be getting my staples out on Thursday. I can't wait.

I want to tell everyone about Shriners Hospital. God definitely sent us to the best place on earth. Shriners are most definitely Gods helpers on earth. Also Dr. Herndon Harli's doctor is the best there is. He has been doing this for a long time. And the nurses are awesome. They treat the kids as if they were their own. I encourage you, if led to, to donate to Shriners. I thank you Shriners, you are amazing

We had a visitor today. Her name isTeresa and she is from Texas. She brought Harli a gift, she is a Sweet Sweet women. She told me she that she just had to meet Harli if possible. I told her sure, Harli would love to meet her. Her husband is a rookie racer, she said. I told her if anything comes out of this it is that we will make sure that there will be fire safety on every track in America. She told me it is already in the works. People are taking notice. PRAISE GOD. No one will have to wonder if it is there or assume it is there. It will be there!!!! Racing is IN Harli and Charlie's blood. She got it from her dad. Harli would say RACE ON!!! But be aware of the fire safety first.

I CAN NOT SAY ENOUGH HOW WE APPRECIATE EVERY CARD, GIFT AND DONATION TO HARLI. THAT IS WHAT IT IS ALL ABOUT. PAY IT FORWARD. AND YOU HAVE DONE SO THAT IS WHAT IT IS ABOUT. THAT IS WHY WE ARE ON THIS EARTH. TO GIVE ,TO LOVE ,TO WITNESS BY ACTION. TO BE THERE FOR ANY AND EVERYONE WHO NEEDS IT. NO QUESTION. I JUST HOPE THAT CHARLIE AND I CAN RETURN THE LOVE SOME DAY. IF ANYONE NEEDS ANYTHING YOU KNOW WHERE WE'RE AT. IF YOU NEED A PRAYER JUST LET US KNOW ON THE MESSAGE BOARD AND I WILL DO SO. Hi everyone. It is about 7:00 pm Harli has been out of surgery for a couple of hours and sleeping so that gives me time to update. Dr. Herndon said she did very well in surgery. They had to give her 4 units of blood but that is not unusual for burn patients. He also told us we are looking at 2 more surgeries. One every Monday. They did graphs on bottom and legs. He said before surgery he may do left ear and under ear, but when it was cleaned better he decided not to. We may have to do that next time. She has to lie on her belly for about three days. That is very tough but we will get through it. Harli got to read some cards she got today before surgery. She was so pleased and told us to hurry and read before she had to go to surgery. I can't tell you enough how much that brightens my Harli girls face. She is so moved. I just wish you could see her reaction. She over heard her grandpa saying he would take some of her stuffed animals to her bedroom at home and she shut him down on that. She said they were staying here with her. Please pray for the other children in the burn unit. Also I will be praying for Brooks tomorrow. I hear he will be having another surgery in Ohio. Brooks our prayers are with you. I have already been praying for Mr. Keck. I was so sorry to hear what happened. Once again thank you to everyone in the United States that has sent a Gift or Card. It makes our day to read all of them. It lifts all of our spirits. Thank you to the racers also for cards and gifts. Racers are family. We love you. We miss all of you and hope to see you soon.

SORRY FOR THE DELAY OF AN UPDATE. WE HAVE HAD SOME BUSY DAYS. TODAY WAS A VERY GOOD DAY FOR ALL OF US. HARLI WALKED (WITH HER THERAPIST AND MOM AND DAD HELPED OF COURSE) FURTHER TODAY. SHE ALSO GOT TO SIT IN A WHEEL CHAIR AND GO TO THE 7TH FLOOR WHERE THE CAFETERIA IS AND HAVE LUNCH WITH HER FAMILY THAT IS HERE WITH HER. THAT WAS TRULY A BLESSING FOR ALL OF US. SHE ATE A LOT BETTER TODAY. SHE IS HAVING A TOUGH TIME DRINKING THE BOOST DRINKS THEY WANT HER TO DRINK. THAT IS ALL SHE CAN HAVE. "THEY ARE DISGUSTING" SHE SAYS. SHE SAT UP IN A CHAIR FOR MOST OF THE DAY. WHICH WAS PRETTY TOUGH, SHE HAS NOT HAD HER GRAPHS ON HER BOTTOM YET. SHE WILL HAVE SURGERY MONDAY TO GRAPH HER BOTTOM AND RE-GRAPH THE ONES THAT DID NOT TAKE FROM LAST SURGERY. I CAN TELL YOU THIS. HARLI DOESN'T SHED A TEAR (WHICH IS AMAZING TO ME) UNTIL SHE READS A CARD OR LOOKS AT THE NEWS STATIONS OR HER WEB PAGE OR HEARS ABOUT SOMETHING SOMEONE HAS DONE FOR HER. SHE IS JUST SO TOUCHED BY ALL OF THE GIFTS, CARDS, KINDNESS AND PRAYERS SHE IS RECEIVING. SHE WILL USUALLY SAY "WHY?". I WILL TELL HER SHE IS VERY LOVED AND MISSED AND SHE IS BLESSED TO HAVE ALL THESE PEOPLE WHO CARE ABOUT HER. YOU HAVE TOUCHED MANY LIVES WITH YOUR FAITH IN THE LORD AND YOUR KINDNESS , AND GIVING TO OTHERS; NOBODY KNOWS A TOUGHER 12 YEAR OLD (FIXIN TO BE TEENAGER ON APRIL 24TH) LIKE YOU.. AND TOUGH SHE IS. I AM AMAZED AT WHAT SHE WITHSTANDS. WE PRAY A LOT TOGETHER AND I KNOW THAT IS GETTING HER THROUGH A LOT OF THE PAIN SHE ENDURES. PLEASE PRAY FOR HARLI'S NEXT SURGERY ON MONDAY THAT THE GRAPHS WILL TAKE AND SHE WONT HAVE TO HAVE ANY MORE SURGERY. ALSO COULD YOU KEEP PRAYING FOR NO INFECTION. SHE HAS BEEN RUNNING A LITTLE FEVER. LETS PRAY HER FEVER GOES AWAY. WE CANNOT THANK EVERYONE WHO HAS WRITTEN TO HARLI, SENT HER THINGS, PRAYING FOR HER , DONATED TO HER AND HAVE PURCHASED HER GHTP SHIRTS. SO MUCH HAS BEEN DONE AND WE THANK YOU SO MUCH. WE CAN NOT EXPRESS OUR "THANK YOU'S" ENOUGH. THERE ARE A LOT OF CHILDREN IN THIS BURN CENTER. MOST ARE BURNED VERY VERY BAD.

Update 4/10/08 11:30 a.m.

Harli is doing better. They have informed us that 85% of her initial grafts took. Surgery is scheduled for next Monday to address the other 15%.
Today she should be getting a bed that she can sit up in. They are also going to let her eat and drink a little bit today even though her glucose is still high. She is excited about that.

We can feel the spirit of the Lord all around us. We feel the prayers. Please pray that Harli's new grafts will take so that she will not have to have more surgery's. Also please pray for no infection, so far so good with that.

Charlie and I would like to thank the people of Oklahoma and outside of Oklahoma. Especially our town of Lindsay for all the support we have received. As Harli said "It takes our breath away." We are so blessed to have such loving support. It makes things easier.

We know that we are not alone in this and we thank you very much! God will heal her no doubt about that. She is in his loving arms.
